Being a part of KidzArt is a dream come true! I come from a long line of artists, so art has always been a part of my life. I graduated from University of Texas-Arlington with a Bachelors of Fine Art in Art/Art History degree. Later, I returned to college as a post baccalaureate student in Art Education. Although I taught various art classes on my own, my career path was in a professional corporate environment until my husband and I purchased a franchise. After being Vice President of Sales and Marketing for my own thriving business, to my complete joy, we purchased an art franchise! The KidzArt philosophy matches my own as it provides an opportunity for me to work with children, young adults, and adults in art classes which stress creativity in a safe, confidence building environment. I have experienced a world without creative and “out of the box” thinking and I am excited to be able to share these valuable life lessons through the teaching of art! Training children to love art and to create art beyond their expectations is a very exciting and satisfying career!

When we initially purchased a KidzArt franchise it was, from my perspective, a method to make our current businesses portfolio more robust and a way to fill a dream of wife’s love of teaching art. With my 25 + years of experience as an engineer, manager and director, I was a little skeptical about the optimistic teaching methods. To my astonishment, after completing the KidzArt training and attending numerous classes, I am a firm believer in how KidzArt inspires creativity as it builds confidence and excitement in students from preschool to seniors! My commitment to the successful growth of KidzArt in our area is rooted in offering a truly valuable program for our community. In addition, I feel my 6 years experience in starting up and developing another sucessful franchise within the Capitol City Area will nicely compliment the business management skills required to run a thriving KidzArt franchise.
